After the steel wire is heat-treated, the hardening phenomenon caused by cold working can be eliminated, and the mechanical and physical properties can be obtained. The heat treatment methods of spring steel wire are as follows:

1. Normalize. Normalizing is generally used in the intermediate process of steel wire. Heat the steel wire to a certain degree, keep it warm for a period of time and then cool it down. The purpose of normalizing is to soften the steel wire.

2. Austempering. The wire is heated to 850-1000 degrees, and then cooled at a constant temperature to obtain sorbite treatment.

3. Annealing treatment. Heating the spring steel wire to a suitable temperature and then cooling it slowly can eliminate the obstacles in drawing, improve the plasticity and toughness of the steel wire, and ensure that the finished steel wire meets the required mechanical grade and metallographic structure.

The spring steel wire after heat treatment can obtain soxite, thereby ensuring the physical properties of the product. The finished steel wire has good elasticity, straightness, toughness, fatigue resistance, etc., which greatly improves the service life of the steel wire.
