On June 20, following the success of "China-Thailand Automotive Industry Chain Matchmaking and China-Thailand Fastener Matching Activity", Golden Spider Media and Guangdong Automotive Industry Association continued to work together to organize the representatives of China's automotive industry chain and fastener enterprises to carry out an in-depth investigation and research activity in Thailand.
In the first stop, we went to the two factories of MENAM Group, which is a famous enterprise in Thailand, including MENAM DC Distribution Center and MENAM Wire Factory.MENAM was established in 1991, and has been committed to the research and development and manufacture of cold-drawn and stainless steel wire rods. In recent years, the company has also introduced production lines for titanium alloys and carbon steel. With its excellent products and attentive service, MENAM has become a leader in wire rod production in the industry. The delegation of Chinese enterprises spoke enthusiastically during the visit, actively learning from the successful experience of their Thai counterparts and learning from the benchmark enterprises from a distance in order to improve the efficiency of their enterprises, and they have expressed that they have benefited a lot.
Afterwards, we went to Thailand WHA Weihua Industrial Park in Rayong Province, Thailand and Thailand-China Rayong Industrial Park respectively for visiting, investigation and research.
As of the fourth quarter of 2023, the number of enterprises from mainland China and Taiwan totaled 253, the total land purchased by the settled enterprises reached 16,264 mu, and the total leased area of ready-made factories of the settled enterprises reached 206,626 square meters. The tenants include automotive, plastics and polymers, metal prefabricated parts, electronics, construction materials, agriculture and consumer goods, logistics and other related industries. Most of them are automobile and auto parts companies, followed by consumer goods. Ford, Mazda, BYD, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Great Wall, MG, and many other globally famous automobile brands are gathered here.
