According to news from the China Automobile Association on April 10, in March, automobile production and sales completed 2.687 million units and 2.694 million units respectively, a month-on-month increase of 78.4% and 70.2% respectively, and a year-on-year increase of 4% and 9.9% respectively. A large number of new cars were launched after the holiday, offline activities such as auto shows were carried out one after another, and some regions introduced promotional policies such as trade-in for old ones, driving car sales to show rapid growth year-on-year.
From January to March, automobile production and sales completed 6.606 million units and 6.72 million units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 6.4% and 10.6% respectively, achieving a good start in the first quarter.
In March, domestic sales of automobiles were 2.193 million units, a month-on-month increase of 81.8%, and a year-on-year increase of 5.1%; automobile exports were 502,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 33%, and a year-on-year increase of 37.9%.
From January to March, domestic sales of automobiles were 5.396 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6.2%; automobile exports were 1.324 million units, a year-on-year increase of 33.2%.
