Chemical composition of cold heading steel rod C (carbon) : 0.18 ~ 0.23; Si (Silicon) : ≤0.10; Mn (manganese) : 0.70 ~ 1.00; P (P) : ≤0.030; S (sulfur) : ≤0.035; B (boron) : ≥0.0008.
Cold heading steel, good plasticity, strength is not too high, heat treatment effect is obvious. The performance is better than 20 steel, generally used for processing fasteners or other structural parts.
Implementation standard: the American standard SAE J403-2001, the domestic 20MnB according to GB/T3098.1-2010 new standard can not produce 10.9 class bolts, can produce 9.8 class bolts.
