Injection molds are mainly used for the molding of thermoplastic products, but in recent years, more and more are used for the molding of thermosetting plastics. Injection molding occupies a large proportion in the molding of plastic products, so about half of the production of plastic molding molds are injection molds.

 Extrusion molding die: also known as the head. Let the plastic in the viscous flow state through the mouth die with a specific cross-section shape at high temperature and high pressure, and then cool down at a lower temperature, the molding method used to produce a continuous profile with the required cross-section shape is called extrusion molding, and the mold used for plastic extrusion molding is called extrusion molding mold.

Hollow products blow molding mold: extrusion or injection molding out of the tubular billet is still in a plasticized state, while hot into the mold forming cavity, immediately in the center of the billet through compressed air, so that the tube billet expansion and close to the mold cavity wall, cooling hardening became hollow products. The mold used in this molding method is a blow molding mold for hollow products.

Vacuum or compressed air molding mold: This is a separate negative mold or positive mold. Press the pre-made plastic sheet around the mold, heat it to soften it, and then vacuum the side close to the mold, or fill the opposite side with compressed air, so that the plastic sheet is close to the mold; After cooling and setting, the product is obtained. The mold force of this molding method is small, the requirements are not high, and even can be made of non-metallic materials. 5. Pressing molding die: referred to as pressing die. The plastic raw material is directly added to the open mold cavity, and then the mold is closed, and the plastic becomes a flowing state under the action of heat and pressure and fills the mold cavity; Then due to chemical or physical changes to harden the plastic, this method is called press forming, and the mold used is called press forming mold. This mold is mostly used for thermosetting plastic molding processing, but also for thermoplastics. In addition, there is a non-heated cold pressing die for forming teflon billets.
