China Construction Machinery Industry Association disclosed the import and export report of construction machinery products from January to February. From January to February 2024, my country's construction machinery import and export trade volume was US$7.856 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%. Among them, the import value was US$382.5 million, a year-on-year decrease of 0.33%; the export value was US$7.473 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.67%.
According to customs data, my country's construction machinery import and export trade volume in January 2024 was US$4.313 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.21%, of which: import volume was US$201 million, a year-on-year increase of 3.01%; export volume was US$4.112 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.32%. In February 2024, the total import and export volume was US$3.543 billion, a year-on-year increase of 7.66%, of which: the import value was US$181 million, a year-on-year decrease of 3.79%; the export value was US$3.362 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.36%.
Calculated in terms of exports denominated in RMB, exports in January were 29.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.18%; exports in February were 23.895 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%. The cumulative export volume from January to February was 53.085 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 11.1%.
