The explosive bolt is a unique fixture. Unlike conventional bolts, it does not have a nut part. A tiny amount of explosive is hidden in the front end of the bolt. When the bolt needs to be installed into the object to secure it, these explosives will ignite, causing the front end of the bolt to expand. This process acts as if a nut is screwed on to help the bolt stick tightly to the object. This design not only saves the step of tightening the nut, but also has better fixing effect. Therefore, the explosive bolt plays a similar role in essence to the rivets. During the disassembly process, there are no safety issues because the explosives have been ignited. All you have to do is sand off the exploding head with an electric grinder. Explosive bolts are mainly used in the construction process of large permanent buildings and Bridges.
