When using pre-galvanized wire to draw galvanized iron wire, there will be no poor mechanical properties. The toughness of this kind of iron wire is 15 to 25% higher than that of the drawn and galvanized iron wire, and in some cases it even slightly exceeds the toughness of the light iron wire. The upper limit of the strength of the iron wire that is plated and then drawn is higher than that of the iron wire that is drawn and then plated. The iron wire that is plated and then drawn is not only tough but also high in strength. There are relatively low numbers in the strength limit of the drawn galvanized iron wire. This is due to the zinc quality, because the strength of zinc technology is several times smaller than that of the iron wire itself.
It is very difficult to hot-dip galvanize the drawn iron wire. For thinner and very thin iron wires, it is even more unlikely to be plated with a smooth zinc layer of the required thickness. The thinner iron wires are broken and smaller, and have a larger surface relative to the ground. The degree of erosion is even greater, but the quality of the plated connection is particularly thin. If the zinc is plated first and then drawn, the Baidu of the zinc layer on the finished iron wire can be adjusted. For very thin iron wires, the thickness of the zinc layer obtained from the first drawing and then drawing is more than 100 % larger than that of the first drawing and then plating . In this way, the quality of galvanized iron wire equipment can be improved.
