8.8 bolt material: The performance grade of high-strength bolts is called 8.8, and after heat treatment, the material can meet the following conditions: 1. Nominal tensile strength of 640MPa; 2. The bending ratio is 0.8; 3. Nominal yield strength of 640×0.8=800MPa; 4. Class 8.8 hex bolt materials include 1035ACR(below M10), 1040ACR(above M12), CH38F, 1045ACR, 1039, 10B21, 10B33 and 10B38; 5. Class 8.8 hex bolt materials include CH38F, 1039, 10B21(M10-M12), 10B33(M14) and 10B38(M12-M24).

8.8 bolt strength: 8.8 bolt strength refers to the shear stress class of the bolt of 8.8GPa and 10.9Gpa, nominal tensile strength of 800N/MM2, nominal yield strength of 640N/MM2. Class 8.8 hex bolt material selection is the same as above, and hex bolt material is also the same as above. Generally, the performance grade of bolts is an international standard, and bolts with the same grade, regardless of the difference in material and origin, their performance is the same. Therefore, the design only needs to select the corresponding performance level. The strength class is usually expressed as the tensile strength class and shear stress class of the bolt, such as class 8.8 and 10.9.
