Product Introduction:

AISI 1022 is a low carbon structural steel with a carbon content of about 0.22%. Its chemical composition includes elements such as 0.17-0.24% carbon, 0.30-0.60% manganese, and small amounts of phosphorus and sulfur. AISI 1022 steel has good plasticity and toughness, but relatively low strength and hardness. The steel is also easy to process and weld. It is commonly used in the manufacture of low strength structural components such as bolts, nuts, screws, pins, bearings, steel pipes, automotive parts and mechanical parts. AISI 1022 steel is also used in the manufacture of a wide range of cold forming, deep stamping and cold forgings.
